At this site, you will find a wealth of resources and assistance for small and mid-sized cultural institutions provided free of charge by the Foundation of the American Institute for Conservation with funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
Please note! Anyone may use this site, search for resources, listen to past webinars, and participate in current webinars simply by signing up for the particular webinar you are interested in. You will find the sign-up link at the bottom of the announcement for each upcoming webinar.
RESOURCES is a virtual library of information on collections care topics chosen for their applicability for smaller cultural institutions, as well as links to organizations that can assist you with collections care and funding. Use the search function on this page to find items of interest quickly.
If you need the answer to a Collections Care problem you can ask the Connecting to Collections Care Community. You can ask all of your collections care questions and be assured of receiving timely and reliable answers from conservation and heritage preservation professionals, as well as from other members of the C2C Care community. The instructions for joining the Community can be found here. Even If you were registered in the old Discussion Forum, you will have to join the new platform.
The MEETING ROOM is the access portal for live webinars. Check the events calendar for upcoming Meeting Room events.
The ARCHIVES contains recordings of all previous webinars from both Connecting to Collections Care and from our predecessor, Connecting to Collections. The ARCHIVES also contains the Discussion forums from Connecting to Collections (2010-2014) and for Connections to Collections Care (2015-August 2018).
