I know that silks, etc require unbuffered materials, but most recommendations for cotton say buffered is ok. But I dimly recall reading that black textiles are different and require unbuffered materials for storage. I’ve searched but can’t find anything to back up my hazy memory. Black t-shirts are all the rage with videogamers, and we have a pile of them. We also have a black award ribbon (like the first place rosettes at the county fair) made out of some shiny fabric that has me worried. Can someone with more experience with textiles than I have help?
