Does anyone have recent experience with processing materials originally from a dry cave context? I am interested in ways in which you protected the workers from anything hazardous. We have a HEPA filter hood system that we plan to use along with gloving, but are there any other steps we can take before to minimize effects. It has been suggested to freeze the materials, but I am concerted that this does not deal with the viruses and fungi that go into stasis but don’t die.
