The Old Martin County Courthouse (built 1885) has been undergoing a restoration. It’s governing body has received a donation of a collection of art and would like to display it in the ground floor corridor.

I’ve been trying to find a suitable hanging rail system that would enable the display, and cause the minimum number of holes being made in the walls/ceiling and provide flexibility and facilitate a rotation of the items on display, bearing in mind that it would be a new addition to an historic building.

      Any recommendations?

We use the Walker Display system. If you are fortunate enough to have picture railing installing the hooks and rods is a snap. If you don’t have picture railing they have other types of hooks including one to hang from acoustic tile grids. They also have rails you can install to hang multiple pictures from. While some art and archival suppliers sell the Walker Display components I have found that it is cheaper to order from them directly. You should be able to find more information about them on the Internet.
