I recently discovered 20 8.5’x12″ hand colored photographs tucked into a cedar box (my guess here). The prints are in excellent shape and have been stored this way for over 60 years. I’ve decided to interfile acid free tissue paper between each print and placed them back in the box. The box is from the photographers studio and appears to be made exclusively as a presentation piece to go with the prints. Question, should I removed them or let them be as we found them? Thanks.
